One works in parallel with both academic and non-profit institutions in roles of either research or capacity building.

Research starts from writing proposals, to research design and strategy, designing of instruments, developing indicators for monitoring and evaluation, data crunching, data visualization and analysis and ends with report writing and publications.

Capacity Development revolves around economics, finance, research methods, strategy , program evaluation and data analytics.

The connecting links between research and capacity building are gender budgeting and sensitization, maternal health, early childhood development, microfinance and citizen issues. Area of passion remains on gender and data for development.

I am also associated with ‘Statistics Without Borders'(SWB), a volunteer Outreach Group of the American Statistical Association (ASA) that provides pro bono services in statistics and data science.

I am also the CEO of Citizen Ecofinalytics which works with grassroots non-profits and citizen interest groups in the area of research and evaluation. I  can be contacted at [email protected]
