Ms. Rattehalli has subject matter expertise in monitoring & evaluation, and learning (MEL) in donor-funded international development programs, as well as conflict and crisis mitigation and humanitarian assistance and interventions as they apply to efforts aimed at countering violent extremism. Additionally, Ms. Rattehalli has significant experience managing remote operations and remote and in-country TAP programming under large-scale USAID/Office of Transition Initiatives projects in Syria, Jordan (Food for Peace funded option), and Iraq. Ms. Rattehalli has in-country experience in: Jordan, Iraq, Turkey (remote-management of USAID/OTI Syria programming), Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Bangladesh, and Lebanon. She has provided research and writing for senior defense policy makers and ambassadors on topics such as emerging security concerns, civil society rebuilding and stability, and emerging government defense capabilities and stability.
